highland cow painting

Heather, my highland cow is one of the growing number of cows in my cow paintings colllection.   In keeping with my flower names for cows, she had to have a fitting name.   Heather seemed to be the most appropriate.   

Heather's photograph was sent to me by a lady who wondered if I would paint her yearling highland cow.   When the photo arrived on my laptop, I knew instantly that she was going to make a great painting because she had such a sweet expresssion.
